Electrical & Instrument Engineers
Apply Oil & Gas is looking for Electrical and Instrument Engineers for our projects and contracts.
Duties are studies, design / engineering, job/work pack preparation and discipline leads for electro and instrument systems. Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 year experience from offshore or land based Oil and Gas Industry. Preferably experience from offshore maintenance and modification work, and good knowledge of Norsok requirements.

Some travelling activities must be accepted.
The engineer will, depending of qualifications, take a role in an engineering team for multidiscipline project. Typical projects are Maintenance and Modifications, design / modification of electrical and instrument systems, automation systems, instrumentation, F&G, design and calculations, VSD frequency converters, UPS, SAS design and optimization.
Test of electrical and automation systems, design evaluation and review, prepare procedures for systems testing, specifications and relevant procedures, prepare and verify equipment list and engineering register, document verification from mechanical completion, etc.

- Formal higher degree in electrical or automation engineering
- Experience from studies and engineering / detail engineering, Oil and gas industry
- Good knowledge of Norsok and other relevant Oil and Gas regulations
- Ability and good performance of written / oral communications in both Norwegian and English
- Experience and good performance in data / IT and engineering tools
- Good practical understanding
- Be an initiator for continuous improvement
